Laying Gravel or Top Soil

Using our pneumatic conveying systems, MulchMatters can blow round rock up to ¾ inch in size into place. No more dumping and spreading rock using conventional methods. We can reach those hard to get to places. Mulchmaster Plus can blow in pea stone walkways and line the sides of ponds with rock.

Mud Control

Sawdust or mulch is blown to create natural walkways and blown around foundations at construction sites.

  • Mud is no longer tracked into the work area.
  • Workers stay drier and mud free.
  • The mulch may be left behind to be used as a soil amendment or for use in landscaping once the project is complete.
  • Provides safer footing for workers.
    Reduces mud tracking by vehicles.

Erosion Control

MulchMatters can solve construction site sediment control where silt-fencing fails through the use of water permeable windrows (berms) of compost or mulch to contain soil erosion by removing suspended soil particles from water moving off the site into adjacent waterways or storm water drainage systems. Filter berms can be easily disposed of by spreading the compost material out, or they can be left in place. Plastic silt fences clog up our landfills and are difficult to remove. Filter berms can also be injected with grass seed to make them extra durable.
